| Description | The lecture will focus on specific ways, by which purely instrumental (piano) music can "speak" to the listener, namely on cases where the sound brings a dance metre or resembles a song melody. From this perspective, we will try to explore the semantic possibilities as well as the semantic limits of a musical work. |
