| Description | This presentation deals with the issue of lexical equivalence in legal terminology between two languages (on the material of Russian and Czech terms from the field of civil law). It summarizes the basic characteristics of legal terminology that are relevant to the question of equivalence and translation of legal terms and addresses some general issues of interlingual equivalence, presents models and approaches of other linguists to the problem and tries to offer a more detailed and detailed model of classification of different types of equivalence that can be encountered between two terminological systems, which takes into account the specifics of legal language and legal terms. |
