Description | This project seeks to comprehensively map the forms of attainment grouping in primary schools and describe how it contributes to disparities in student outcomes and attitudes. The research project employs meta-analyses of differentiation impact studies, secondary analyses of data from international research studies (TIMSS&PIRLS 2011, 2015, and 2019), and data from the longitudinal CLoSE study. The study includes a representative questionnaire survey targeting primary school principals and in-depth case studies of 5 primary schools. The research results and policy recommendations will be summarized in a final report. |
