Description This works focuses on mass spectrometry imaging of nanoparticles using laser desorption/ionization and time-of-flight analyser. Gold nanoparticles with 80 nm diameter and silver nanoparticles with diameter 60, 80 and 100 nm were studied. These particles were detected in dried droplets containing as low as 5 individual nanoparticles.
