Description At the turn of March and April, CZECRIN, newly under the banner of CZECRIN Academy, organized this year's first training on the topic of Project Management and Monitoring in the Clinical Evaluation of Medicines (KH). The training introduced CZECRIN Academy to the wider world and its newly created identity based on the CZECRIN brand. This branch of a large research infrastructure focuses on pre- and post-graduate education in clinical research, and the following educational events will thus take place under its auspices. The training took place at FNUSA-ICRC on Thursday, March 31, and Friday, April 1, with each day dedicated to one area. On Thursday, the participants addressed the issue of Project Management. After the theoretical introduction came the practical and discussion part, in which individual participants could, under the guidance of trainers from CZECRIN, fill in e.g. the application form for KH permission (CTA – Clinical Trial Application) or in the framework of the discussion, they could share their experiences so far and get answers to their questions arising from the very process of preparation and management of KH. Friday was then dedicated to Monitoring, an integral part of KH implementation. Just like the previous day, this part of the training was introduced by theory, and, in the practical part, the participants were involved in an interactive workshop based on experiences and questions from practice, and the participants themselves participated in solving them. The event was implemented with the organizational support of the PharmAround Foundation and was guaranteed by the Czech Nurses Association. The training was attended by 27 interested parties from all over the country, who evaluated the entire workshop as useful and well-prepared. The participants greatly appreciated the content and form of the individual parts and the opportunity to meet colleagues and compare solutions to problems in each hospital.
