| Description | Concert description: Steve Reich - Pendulum Music (1968) Helmut Oehring – Polaroids for deaf narrator, co-tenorist, 12 instruments and live electronics (1996) Edgar Mojdl – Navigable currents (commissioned by BCO) Petr Kofroň – Imaginary Symphony (2012) Brno Contemporary Orchestra/ Pavel Šnajdr – conductor We are in cooperation with the scientific and popularization center Vida and the company Hands Dance have prepared a program dedicated to sound and music in various interactive parallels and interactions. First, we hang the microphones on the pendulum, which in the famous composition / installation Steve Reich's kinetic energy and speaker feedback resonate. In the song Polaroids Hemut Oehring, a deaf narrator, will perform with us. In the world premiere and beyond in the presence of the author, the composition Splavné sprody by Edgar Mojdl will be heard, and at the end we will give the space of fantasy in Petr Kofroň's Imaginary Symphony. Everything will be translated into Czech sign language. The concert is part of the VIDA evening for adults! After Dark. |
