| Description | The finding that the idea of irenism is a lifelong theme of Comenius is already well known. In our paper, we describe it mostly as choice on the basis of three editions (The Aspostle of Peace J. A. 1949; J. A. Comenius, About Myself,1989, and The Path of Light, 2009) and supplement it with further details in view of the topic. Notably, we mention in particular the works of Comenius such as Angelus Pacis, Via Lucis and Consultacionis brevissima delineatio (as the basis of the text Via lucis). We pay more attention to the text Gentis Felicitas, whose ideas we consider to be more topical compared to the previous text of Comenius. Furthermore in connection with the work of Comenius Unum Necessarium we deal with quotations from the Prophet Elijah with a peaceful idea highlighting. |
