Description The text presents a brief preview and evaluation of the latest elaboration of the thematic framework, which reveals the complexity of two important characteristics of the current socio-political situation, namely the persistent and divergent ways in which religion constitutes and legitimizes power and social relations, and the economic model which, despite the numerous and perpetual crises stemming mainly from growing social inequality, still maintains its relevance in the political sphere through cultural structures based, among other things, on religious sources.
