| Description | The topic of the article is the theoretical interpretation of demonstrative pronouns, their system and functioning, in the Czech language in comparison with contemporary Russian and Ukrainian. The main aim of the article is to clarify the problem of understanding the functioning Czech demonstrative pronouns by Slavic native speakers, Russians, and Ukrainians, during the process of learning Czech as a foreign language. In the presented text the attention is focused on practical aspect of the interpretation of Czech demonstrative pronouns with the aim of presenting problematic aspects of understanding the meaning of these words by none-native Czech speakers. In the given article, the demonstratives are described in a context of speaking and text. Furthermore, there are practical proposals showed in the final part of the article to make the explaining of demonstrative pronouns usage clearer to students. The proposals are presented against the background of a comparative analysis of textual material in Czech, Russian and Ukrainian. |
