Description The tradition of art, especially sacred art, set in nature has a great tradition in the Czech Republic, especially since the Baroque period. Stations of the Cross, crosses and chapels were a natural part of natural space and their function was religious, commemorative, contemplative and artistic. If the post-World War II period was not favourable to these activities, after 1989, on the contrary, there was a revival of this tradition. In my lecture, after a theoretical introduction, I will focus on art in nature in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, which offers a wide range of works of varying quality.
