| Description | The study summarizes the state of research on the issue of small muse- ums on the basis of available foreign and local sources. It identifies the main criteria for museums to be classified in this category, and presents some typical features of small museums, resulting from research and published conclusions of reflective practice. Furthermore, it focuses on mapping the situation in the Czech Republic in relation to the Czech Association of Muse- ums and Galleries, which brings together a considerable number of small museums within its membership base and on whose platform the problems of small museums are also discussed. |
