| Description | The relationship between Christians and environmentalists is burdened by a number of stereotypes. For example, that they are similar in their dogmatism, which stands in opposition to rationality, or that Christianity is in conflict with nature conservation. The text, based on field anthropological research, argues that while these stereotypes can have merit, perspectives of environmentalists and Christians may meet in some ways. The post-restitutional situation in the Czech Republic shows that in parts of the ecclesiastical field, which bear specific characteristics, there emerges thinking about theological, social and ecological aspects of the landscape management. |
