| Description | The chapter presents the results of field research in the East Sepik region (Kambot Municipality) of Papua New Guinea. The subject of the fieldwork was the transformation of local carving traditions and the emergence of so-called storyboards, on which local carvings depict everyday life and mythological scenes. The object of the study is to analyse the absence of depictions of landscape elements on these storyboards. |
