Description In 1039, Prince Břetislav I of Hnězdno brought the relics of St. Vojtěch, which he had solemnly deposited in St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague. The translations also included the relics of his brother Radim and of the Five Brothers, martyrs who were killed during their missionary activities, which followed the efforts of the second bishop of Prague. This paper will trace the fate of the relics of these saints after their transfer to Prague and, on the basis of written sources, reflect on the influence of their presence on the eventual development of the cult of these martyrs in the Czech lands until the Hussite Wars.
