Description | Digital content represents a standard commodity on the consumer and business market. The revenues in various segments of the digital content market steadily grow, regardless economics crises, pandemics or the current Russian aggression in Ukraine. The total value of digital content market in copyrighted works was in 2022 estimated at more than 160bn. USD and in apps it was over 420bn. USD. This paper focuses on context and most important regulatory elements of legal regulatory framework of contracts for provision of digital content that was adopted in the EU in response to fundamental changes in forms in which digital content is provided to users, and namely consumers. |
