Description Research on the Czech film industry as the most productive one of those working under German occupation is important due to its capacity to illustrate the functions of Transit-Film company for the German film policy. From a reversed perspective, research on the Transit-film company is highly important for the history of Czech cinema because it distributed Czech movies around the European markets in unprecedented amounts. The paper will present these two “entangled” perspectives, providing an overview of Czech movies circulating in European cinemas since 1942.
