| Description | Clement of Alexandria’s Paedagogus was written as basic instructions for an inexperienced Christian: it directs catechumens and neophytes to the person of Jesus Christ, assures them of God&apos,s care, gives very specific advice for daily life, and deals with important issues concerning theology and spirituality. During the conference, the following topics were discussed: the lifestyle and approach to body recommended in Clement’s Paedagogus, literary, philosophic and natural scientific sources of the ideas present in this writing, Clement’s original theological concepts. |
