Citation
Description The analysis of Chekhov's short story is based on the observation of incongruence between the individual components of communication (verbal, paraverbal and non-verbal). This phenomenon allows the writer to achieve an extraordinary brevity while accurately capturing the situational tension and contradiction between the outward actions of the literary characters and their "real" inner psychological profile.
