| Description | Santini's architecture is often associated with such words as "creative genius", "essential iconologism", "mystery of symbolic meaning", etc. In our interpretation, we will mainly notice the architectural devices he used, devices which we summarize in basic principles: scaenographia of modello - perspective per angolo , - a functional detail and its transformation by the light – stereotomic illusions. On this basis, we will try to clarify the uniqueness of Santini's (with Baxandalls term) specifically "architectural intelligence". This is a reprise of the former lecture for Fons salutis (Kabaret Špaček, Brno). |
