Description | The ambition of this contribution is to introduce selected AI art artistic-research strategies of three authors, which can be understood as transposi- tions of scientific approaches into the sphere of art. This selection also demonstrates that artistic- research strategies can be identified from various positions other than just Gen-AI, alongside which predictive-speculative approaches can be situ- ated. Refik Anadol will be introduced first, along with his approaches to data representation. Mario Klingemann, whose strategies reflect his motiva- tion to find out how both material and immaterial things work and subsequently hack them. Lauren McCarthy, who uses AI as a means of social inter- ventions. |
