Description Although literature has traditionally played a crucial role in the process of learning a foreign language, recent trends have relegated it to a secondary role. In this article, we explore the possibilities of using literary texts in the classroom, presenting a series of real teaching experiences carried out in the lectureship of Masaryk University in Brno.
