| Description | The Year 2023 marked the 300th anniversary of the death of one of the most significant architects of his time, Johann Blasius Santini-Aichel. On this occasion, the following contribution, published here, was presented at the conference of the National Monuments Institute (Prague, 7 December 1723). We explore here the principles of Santini's architectural "mental work", examining them through the lens of prospective per angolo, stereotomy and skiagraphy of shadows. |
