| Description | Moral categories such as „love” and „hate” were present in early modern society on a daily basis, yet contemporary legal and subjective sources give a rather modulated and strongly auto-stylized testimony about them. In describing and evaluating tense events such as the Estates’ Revolt and its punishment in Old Town Square, it is common for these acts to be described and interpreted as entirely neutral legal acts and legal actions. |
