| Description | In 2022, the Hallstatt chamber grave H29 with a skeletal burial was excavated at the Těšetice-Kyjovice "Sutny" site. Two bronze harp fibulae (Harfenfibeln) with unusual attachment were preserved from the costume of the deceased individual. On the right hand of the deceased in the larger part of the grave were gifts: part of a pig with an iron knife and twenty ceramic vessels. In this paper we will present information about the research, the construction of the grave, the assemblage of finds in the context of previous research, and the first results of the environmental analyses (anthropological analysis, phosphate analysis, lipid analysis, microscopic analysis of metals, archaeobotanical analysis). We will also discuss the reconstruction of the grave prepared for the exhibition dedicated to the 60th anniversary since the beginning of research at the Těšetice-Kyjovice site. |
