Description The article provides, for the first time, a description of MS Florence, Biblioteca Marucelliana, C 150, a fascinating and previously overlooked prose multi-text codex composed of two codicological units, which were quite likely joined together by scribe b, who is responsible for the entire second unit and part of the first. A codicogical, palaeographical and textual investigation attempts to reconstruct the relative chronology of the making of the manuscript and its components. A large part of the article is then devoted to the study of a series of formulae salutationum written in Latin with vernacular titles – in terms of texts, the most significant novelty introduced by this manuscript –, The formulae are offered here in a synoptic edition together with those provided by MS Florence, Biblioteca Riccardiana 1340, which were also unpublished until now.
