Description | The present study investigated the influence of methamphetamine, a derivate of amphetamine with more potent psychostimulatory effects,on the behavioural activity. Three minute dyadic behavioural interactions of singly-housed mice with non aggressive group-housed parters were video-taped and the analysis was processed using the computer-compatible system (THE OBSERVER 3.1.). Acute subcutaneous administration of methamphetamine (1, 5 and 10mg/kg) inhibited aggressivity and increased locomotor activity. Repeated (13x) subcutaneous administration of methamphetamine (1mg/kg) did not proved this effect. |
