Description Atmospheric carbon dioxide seasonal variation results in periodic changes of pH and Eh val-ues in water environment with lowest values in winter period. Despite strong buffering action of carbonate system the changes are not suppressed. During last four years the pH vales decreased for about 0.4 pH unit and has strong influence on enhanced carbonate solubility.
