| Description | Tocqeville is interested in revolution as an extreme (but bad) instrument for asserting the universal tendency for democratization. He analyses the influence of intellectuals for revolution and also the social situation on France before revolution and partly after it. He devotes much space to the analysis of aristocracy. |
