Description | The isotropic, spatially flat Friedmann model is coupled to a massless scalar field. The hailtonian constraint equation is solved exactly in the framework of loop quantum gravity. Time evolution is constructed with respect to the radius of the universe as an internal time. Due to the discrete nature of geometry in the loop formalism this time evolution becomes discrete, too. It displays the correct classical limit but avoids the singularity of the classical counterpart. |
