| Description | Philosophy has traditionally dealt with the problem of defining its own subject. Especially when confronled with special knowledge there sometimes arise questions concerning the competence and scope of philosophy whose solutions could be accepted by both sides. What in fact are philosophical questions of biology, physics, chemistry...? Can philosophy offer anything to special disciplines (particularly natural sciences) or even bring new pieces of knowledge when confronted with these? |
