Description | The activity of FnrP, a transcriptional regulator, is shown to be influenced not only by oxygen, but also by the denitrification intermediate nitric oxide. Evidence is presented for dual regulation of the synthesis of nitric oxide reductase, partly independent of nitric oxide. |
