Description	The aim of the project was to develop simple, sensitive and reproducible method for determination of tolbutamide and hydroxytolutamide from perfuse rat liver medium. Hydroxylation of tolbutamide is used as a valuable tool for measurement of metabolic activity of the 2C6/11 isoform of cytochrome P-450 in rats (CYP2C6/11) The determination was performed with HPLC. This method employs an internal standard. This method is applicable for measurement the activity of CYP 2C6/11.
