| Description | The article deals with the question of how to teach social sciences at secondary schools. I argue that in the globalized world, in which our information about it depends very much on media and the rhetorics of politicians, the main task of the subject should be to teach students how to deal with conflicting statements. It should focuse on providing the student with the skill of "reading" in these statements the biases and conflicting interrests of those who pronaunce it. |
