Description | The objective of the present work was to develop technique for deposition of thin films with desired surface properties, e.g. permeability and wear resistance on paper by means of atmospheric pressure surface barrier discharge. Organosilicon monomers and octafluorocyclobutane were used to deposit thin films. Several methods were used to diagnose thin films, e.g. surface free energy evaluation and depth sensing indentation technique. |
