| Description | The publication deals with the ecological dimension of new religious movements. On selected examples of Hare Krishna movement, engaged Buddhism, Scientology, Unification Movement, Universe People, Human Potential Movement and Oshos Movement, it illustrates the relationship of these movements towards the world, society and embodiment. Special attention is devoted to religious dimension of ecologically oriented philosophers, who strive to forumulate a new cultural paradigm. It becomes clear that in many cases, there is an effort to seek for or revive the original unity of humans and the world, humans and their bodies, and humans and their social environment. |
