Description	The paper deals with the comparation of knowledge of Czech in the Slovak Republic and of knowledge of Slovak in the Czech Republic. Analyses of Czech and Slovak texts written by the students from the university in Brno and Bratislava shows, that Slovak students have better knowledge of Czech than Czech students of Slovak.
