Description This paper is devoted to the study of the tachyon kink on the worldvolume of a non-BPS Dp-brane that moves in a nontrivial background. We will show that the spatial dependent tachyon condensation leads to an emergence of a D(p-1)-brane whose dynamics is governed by Dirac-Born-Infeld action.
