| Description | The paper describes the systematics of the Council Regulation (EC) No 44/2001 of 22 December 2000 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters and its fundamentals principles. Its main point is the approach of particular basic institutions of the forementioned regulation in the european unificated form and the relation to the regulation in the national law and in the other conventions. The special care is dedicated to the following questions: non-recognition of judgements, public policy and declaration of enforceability. |
