| Description | The essay tries to deal with the fundamental features of the "Postmodernity" in the novelistic works of Jean Echenoz, one of the most important authors of the French contemporary literature. As to the conception it is based on the text of the French philosopher of the Postmodernity in Europe, Jean-François Lyotard: "Rewrinting the Modernity". On a more general level, phenomena are being described here, which can be traced on the literary level also in the prose of some of the contemporary French authors; the work of Jean Echenoz being from this respect remarkable indeed. |
