Description The paper describes the systematics of the Council regulation (EC) No 1346/2000 of 29 May 2000 on insolvency proceedings and its fundamentals principles. Its main point is the approach of particular basic institutions of international bankruptcy law in accordance with EC-Law. The special care is dedicated to the following questions: jurisdiction in the international insolvency proceeding, sorts of the proceedings and position of the liquidator and creditors.
