| Description | The paper describes the systematics of the Council Regulation (EC) No 1206/2001 of 28 May 2001 on cooperation between the courts of the Member States in the taking of evidence in civil or commercial matters and its fundamentals principles. Its main point is the approach of particular basic institutions of the forementioned regulation in the european unificated form and the relation to the conventions of the Hague Conference on Private International Law. The special care is dedicated to the following questions: direct transmission between the courts, the use of languages and general provisions on the execution of the request. |
