Description | Population of the freshwater amphipod Gammarus roeselii Gervais 1835 was investigated in the Rokytná River (alt. 215 m, the Jihlava Svratka Morava Catchments, South Moravia Czech Republic) for two years from May 1999 to April 2001. Quantitative sampling was carried out monthly in four habitats (stabile stretch and three unstable stretches with different discharge, current of flow, depth and stability of bed sediments). |
