Description | Aim of the conference was, to show various approaches to the research and interpretation of wall paintings as a specific visual phenomenon. The conference was pursued the strategy of conservation, methods of cataloguing and issues of art historical interpretation of baroque wall painting. The conference was organized in context with these projects: 1. Research and reconstruction of Franz Anton Maulbertschs paintings in Dyje (Moravian Gallery in Brno Zora Wörgötter), 2. Documentation of baroque wall paintings in Prague (Institute of Art History of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic - Martin Mádl), 3. Research of Iconography of baroque libraries in Bohemia (Masaryk University in Brno - Michaela Šeferisová Loudová) |
