Description | The text describes the ethnic parties in the Czech Republic after 1989. In comparison with the interwar first Czechoslovak Republic these parties have not stayed relevant parts of the system. The German minority is small, Slovaks have not founded their own party and Roma parties are not able to mobilize their electorate. Multi-ethnical movement Cooexistentia achieved a partial success in local election in Northern Moravia and Silesia thanks to the Polish minority. |
