| Description | Worsening renal function occurs frequently among hospitalized HF patients and is associated with significantly worse outcomes. The change in renal function during hospitalization for HF may also have prognostic importance. Worsened renal function (WRF) occurred frequently and was associated with specific clinical characteristics present upon admission. |
