Description The jurisdiction of ECJ to interpret the meaning of the text of the regulations and the directions is given for the area of the cooperation in civil matters too. The cornerstone of the paper is the analysis of some cases based on Brusel I. The autor proves the idea whether the ECJ works only as the intepreter of the text or as the creator of the european common private law.
