Description | A new isocratic reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography utilising ultraviolet detection for the simultaneous determination of midazolam and its three main hydroxymetabolites in rat plasma and rat liver perfuse medium is described. The present method offers various advantages over the currently used HPLC methods, including speed, sensitivity and reproducibility. Moreover, it may be applicable for modelling and description of possible pharmacological interactions on rat or human isoforms of cytochrome P450. |
