Description	Contribution deals with evaluation of innovative potential on example of the Czech Republic. Evaluation process includes two basic components i.e. innovative quality of business environment and innovative quality of companies. Analytic information about 205 microregions are synthesised on hierarchical level of NUTS 3 and/or 14 Czech administration units (kreaje) and consequently interpreted from the point of view perspective needs of regional policy of the Czech Republic.
