| Description | The work deals with the issue of the status of citizen-patient in the Czech healthcare. The main goal of this paper is to analyze the status of citizenship as the principal entity in the demand for health services and as one of the payers of health care in the system of direct payments for health care. The starting point in achieving a positive analysis of the role of the citizen in the current healthcare system in the CR. Further analysis of the main problems associated with the current status of a citizen in the Czech health care. In the final part is the author expressed his own opinion on possible solutions to the problems analyzed. |
