| Description | The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve plays an important role in many branches when it is necessary to classify between two populations. In the contribution the attention is concentrated on methods of ROC curve estimation. Three approaches are discussed: classical estimator based on the empirical CDF, the weighted regression estimator, the estimator based on the best unbiased CDF estimator. Then the procedures are applied to the medical real data processing. |
